Earlier this summer my wedding jewelry was included in a photoshoot for Weddings Magazine. Shot at an abandoned 1940’s water treatment plant in North Carolina, the shoot put contemporary gowns against the dilapidated beauty of the art deco building. The whole thing was gorgeous. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day:
the lighting and the architectural details in this building are incredible….
even the peeling paint is pretty
Much of the original equipment is still there – including those at each station that measure the millions of gallons of water that used to come through the plant each day.
keeping dresses tidy between shoots was a bit of a challenge – so we improvised a bit.
The final product is gorgeous, so be sure to check out the magazine to see more.
